Are your products gluten-free?
Yes! All of our current products are 100% gluten-free!
Where can I find the nutritional information?
All products have the nutritional label shown as part of the product photo. Moreover, you can find out more about each specific ingredient by clicking the "I'm Curious" button on the home page.
Where can I find Kahenmei products?
Currently, we are only selling directly via our website. However, you will be the first to know when we become available elsewhere! Following us on instagram @kahenmei is the best way to be the first to find out when that happens!
Do you ship outside of US?
Unfortunately, we currently only ship within the US. Our team is working hard to make international shipping a possibility in the near future!
Are the baking mix nutrition facts for the mix only or prepared product?
The nutrition label only includes the facts for dry ingredients of the mix and NOT prepared products. Due to the flexibility in using different oils/non-diary milk for preparing the baked goods, we only included the nutrition facts for the dry ingredients.
Is there a specific type of oil or non-diary milk I should use?
You can use any oil or non-diary milk you have on hand! Our team uses grapeseed oil or coconut oil. For non-diary milk, we like using oat or almond milk.
Is there a difference in taste between the regular and vegan preparation method?
Nope! We have perfected the recipe so that vegans and non-vegans can enjoy the same quality of cookies regardless of lifestyle preferences! Either way, you should get crunchy on the outside, melt-in-your-mouth inside cookies!
How do I prevent cookies from sticking on the pan if I don't have parchment paper?
Lightly spray your oven-safe pan with oil to prevent your cookies from sticking!
Can I add additional toppings(e.g. chocolate chips) to the mix?
Absolutely!! Do what your heart desires! Feel free to add chocolate chips, nuts, sprinkles, or anything else that you are craving to our mixes.
